My name is Dan and I am currently obtaining my degree in Journalism and Technical Communication, with minors in Political Science and Philosophy, from Ferris State University. I started this blog as a way to write in my free time and experiment with the blogosphere.
Because of the topics I generally cover here, I feel you should know a bit about my stances. Politically I am generally an Independent, with liberal and libertarian leanings on most issues. Religously, I am an Atheist. I am a believer in secular and humanist values and the separation of church and state. I feel that through scientific advancement we can obtain a true, evidence based worldview, rather than embracing the faith based ideas of religious texts.
